FAQs

  • Is there a photographer or staff on-site?

No, we do not provide a photographer or staff to take your photos. We operate under a DIY model in the sense that you will need to take your own photos. We offer tripods for your use, and you are welcome to bring your own. Alternatively, consider partnering with another family to take turns photographing each other.

  • How do I get in?

When your booking is confirmed we will send you a code to enter on the key pad on the door of the space. It will be valid for the duration of your booking time.

  • Do I need insurance?

We do not require proof of insurance. It is your responsibility to obtain either yearly or hourly insurance for your own liability.

  • What is your cleaning policy?

Please leave the space cleaner than you found it, no matter its original condition. We rely on a shared sense of responsibility to keep this area in great shape. To help with this, follow the cleaning checklist during each visit to ensure everything is in order for the next guest. Your cooperation is essential in maintaining cleanliness. If the space isn't cleaned or reset according to the checklist, a $200 fee may apply.

  • What's included in the rental?

You’ll have complete access to all backdrops, props, and lighting equipment during your photo session. The space also includes a bathroom for your convenience, though please note there is no changing table available. Cleaning supplies are provided to help maintain the area. Kindly ensure that all items remain in the studio and are not removed from the space.

  • Can I get there earlier?

We request that you arrive on time for your reservation. You are welcome to arrive early and wait outside, but please refrain from disturbing anyone using the space until your scheduled time begins.

  • What if I break or ruin something?

We understand that accidents happen, and things may break or get ruined. If the value of the damaged item is under $50, there's no need to worry—we’ll take care of it. However, please inform us about the incident, even if you weren't responsible. For items over $50 in value, we’ll reach out to discuss a resolution through email. We encourage open communication without concern for consequences. Your honesty is appreciated, and we’re committed to finding a fair solution together.

  • Is there parking?

While we don't have a designated parking area, there is street parking nearby. Our neighbors across the street are often accommodating, particularly outside of their business hours, and you may find available spaces there; however, please use your discretion. We kindly ask that you avoid parking in residential complexes. For additional options, we've noticed more availability on the 400 block of Peninsula Avenue. To ensure a stress-free visit, we recommend allowing about 15 minutes to find parking.

  • Is food allowed?

We kindly ask that you refrain from eating in or around the scenes to help us keep the space clean and ready for everyone to enjoy. However, you're welcome to use the front entrance area if you'd like to have a snack during your session. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a tidy environment for all our guests!

  • Are there cameras in the studio space?

Yes, for the safety and security of our guests and equipment, we have cameras in the studio space. These cameras are used solely for monitoring and ensuring a safe environment and are not used to record or share any personal sessions or content.

  • Can I bring my pet to the studio?

We currently allow guests to bring up to two well-behaved dogs weighing 25 lbs or less or 1- 40 lb dog to the studio. Please note that there are specific guidelines to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the space, such as keeping dogs on a leash, ensuring they’ve used the restroom before arrival, and cleaning up any shedding hair if necessary. While we love all pets, at this time, we are only allowing dogs—no cats or other animals. Please refer to our Pet Policy Guidelines in our Terms for more details.
